Chandrayaan 03 Rover

The Chandrayaan-3 rover is named Pragyan (meaning “wisdom”), a six-wheeled, solar-powered robotic vehicle deployed from the Vikram lander in August 2023 to explore the Moon’s South Pole, making India the first nation to land there. Its mission was to conduct in-situ chemical analysis of the lunar surface, discovering elements like Sulfur, Aluminium, Calcium, Iron, Chromium, Titanium, Manganese, Silicon, and Oxygen, and studying thermal properties, seismicity, and the plasma environment, paving the way for future lunar missions by collecting vital scientific data
